About the position
Deloitte is hiring a Cyber Security Operations Centre (SOC) Consultant in Thailand to support monitoring, detection, investigation and response to cyber security threats across client environments. The role involves triaging security alerts, investigating incidents, supporting incident response activities, operating SIEM/SOAR and related security technologies, developing detection rules and playbooks, and collaborating with client stakeholders to strengthen cyber resilience.
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, IT or a related field and 3-5 years of experience in cyber security operations, security monitoring or incident response. Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, cloud security or threat intelligence platforms is required, and familiarity with NIST or MITRE ATT&CK is advantageous.
Responsibilities
Monitor and triage security alerts and events across networks, endpoints, cloud environments and business applications
Investigate potential security incidents, assess their impact and support root cause analysis
Support incident response activities, including containment, eradication, recovery and post-incident review
Operate and maintain cyber security technologies, including SIEM, SOAR, endpoint, network, cloud and threat intelligence tools
Develop and tune detection rules, use cases, playbooks and alerting logic to improve monitoring effectiveness
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in cyber security operations, security monitoring, incident response, or a related role
Hands-on experience with one or more security technologies such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, cloud security or threat intelligence platforms
Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework or MITRE ATT&CK is advantageous
Relevant cyber security certifications such as Security+, CEH, GCIH, GCIA or CISSP are preferred
Nice to have
Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST incident response guidance or MITRE ATT&CK; certifications such as Security+, CEH, GCIH, GCIA or CISSP
