About the position
NXP is seeking a GOE PETE Technician for a full-time position in Bangkok. The role involves setting up and converting test equipment, checking tester readiness, preparing test programs and hardware, and executing engineering lots, characterization, and qualification samples.
The technician will track lot progress, coordinate with Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Operations, and Manufacturing, analyze test and yield results, support engineering debugging, manage characterization and reliability samples, maintain testers and inventory control, and escalate yield, testing, or equipment issues. Qualifications include a vocational certificate or engineering degree, semiconductor manufacturing knowledge, wafer-sort and final-test familiarity, Microsoft Excel proficiency, and strong communication, teamwork, troubleshooting, and data-analysis skills.
Responsibilities
Set up and convert test equipment for engineering and qualification work
Check tester readiness, test programs, load boards, probe cards, sockets, and hardware configuration
Execute engineering lots, characterization, and qualification testing
Track lot progress and coordinate with Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Operations, and Manufacturing
Analyze test and yield results, support engineering debugging, and escalate abnormalities
Requirements
Vocational certificate or engineering degree in electrical, electronics, semiconductor technology, or a related field
Basic knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, wafer sort, and final test
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and data-analysis skills
