Process Engineer Intern

NXP is hiring a Process Engineer Intern based in Bangkok, Thailand, on a full-time basis. The intern will work on improving product performance and providing technical solutions in the engineering field to meet yield, quality, cycle time, and productivity targets. Responsibilities include investigating processing and equipment factors, leading improvement projects, qualifying new products and recipes, and supporting production floor performance.

Candidates should hold or be completing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials Science, or a related discipline. Exposure to manufacturing, testing, maintenance, or process improvement through internships, labs, or projects is a plus, along with comfort using Excel and an interest in process improvement, quality, equipment, or operations. Good written and spoken English communication skills are required.

Improve product performance and provide technical solutions to achieve yield, quality, cycle time, and productivity goals

Investigate and analyze processing and equipment factors to implement engineering qualification and projects

Lead improvement projects focused on quality, yield, cost, and production flexibility

Qualify new product programs/recipes and follow up for better manufacturability

Support production floor to maintain better manufacturing performance

Bachelor's or Master's degree (or graduating soon) in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials Science, or related discipline

Internship, lab, workshop, or project experience in manufacturing, testing, maintenance, or process improvement is a plus

Comfortable with Excel and common productivity tools; exposure to lab, quality, or production systems is a plus

Interest in process improvement, quality, equipment, or operations with willingness to learn on the job

Good written and spoken English communication skills
