New product introduction – Technician ; BL STI

NXP is hiring a New Product Introduction (NPI) Technician for its Product STI team in Bangkok, supporting NPI qualification activities in an international work environment. The role involves installing and preparing test equipment, executing qualification tests, coordinating engineering samples, and supporting NPI projects together with engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams.

The technician will set up testers, probers, and handlers, run qualification tests and prepare reports, manage engineering sample handovers between sites, and handle procurement documents such as PRs and POs. Candidates should hold a vocational certificate (ปวช. or ปวส.) in electronics, electrical, mechatronics, mechanical, or a related field, with 1-2 years of experience in equipment setup or automation systems preferred. Basic English, teamwork, and the ability to lift equipment and climb ladders are required.

Install and set up test equipment such as Tester, Prober, and Handler to support NPI qualification activities

Support qualification testing and prepare accurate test reports on schedule

Coordinate and manage the handover of units/samples for testing between internal departments

Receive, inspect, track, and deliver engineering samples between manufacturing sites and related departments

Prepare, process, and track procurement documents such as Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) for NPI projects

Coordinate and follow up with external parties

Deliver and coordinate sample units between internal departments

Support engineering systems and related documentation tasks

Vocational certificate (ปวช. or ปวส.) in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or related field

1-2 years of experience in machine or automation system setup such as Tester, Prober, or Handler preferred

Basic English skills, able to read and reply to emails

Teamwork and effective coordination across multiple departments

Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Able to work independently and in a team

Able to lift or move heavy equipment and materials

Able to climb ladders or work in elevated areas for equipment installation/inspection
