About the position
The Senior Product Specialist sits within AIG's Accident & Health business in Bangkok, supporting the Product Manager and Product Development team on the product roadmap, approvals, business cases, timelines, and cross-functional delivery for new product launches. The role also supports Underwriters with system implementation, provides data and market research to actuarial, and coordinates work procedures and product materials across functions.
The position requires proven experience in A&H insurance with solid product knowledge, a degree in Actuarial, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field, and the ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders. Strong communication and presentation skills, fluent written and spoken English, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.
Responsibilities
Support the Product Manager and Product Development team in the development and planning of the product roadmap.
Support the Product Manager in management of the process including product/committee approvals, business case documentation, developing project timelines and working with other functional stakeholders.
Support the Underwriter in implementing plans and benefits in AIG system.
Provide data and research support proposal to actuarial.
Coordinate with all related functions to establish work procedure and practice to ensure smooth implementation before product launching.
Requirements
Proven relevant experience in A&H insurance, solid product knowledge.
Degree holder in Actuarial, Marketing, Business Administration or related.
Team player with experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to build relationships.
Good command of written and spoken English; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
