About the position
NXP is hiring a full-time Systems Software Engineer based in Bangkok, Thailand. The role contributes to systems engineering activities by helping define, analyze, document, and validate system-level requirements and behaviors. The engineer assists with technical coordination, reviews, testing support, and follow-up on action items across hardware, software, and validation teams, and helps prepare reports, specifications, and project records.
Candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline. Familiarity with relevant engineering, design, verification, programming, or lab tools is expected, along with strong fundamentals in problem solving, testing, and technical documentation, plus good English communication skills.
Responsibilities
Contribute to systems engineering activities by helping define, analyze, document, and validate system-level requirements or behaviors
Assist with technical coordination, reviews, testing support, and follow-up on action items across teams
Work with hardware, software, and validation stakeholders to enable smooth project execution
Help prepare reports, specifications, and project records for visibility and traceability
Contribute to structured problem solving, communication, and system quality
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree (or graduating soon) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline
Hands-on experience from lab work, design projects, internships, coursework, or student competitions is a plus
Familiar with role-related engineering, design, verification, programming, or lab tools; willingness to learn quickly is important
Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, problem solving, testing, and technical documentation
Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly; good English communication skills
Nice to have
Hands-on experience from lab work, design projects, internships, coursework, or student competitions
