You will be responsible for resolving IT application-related incidents, service requests, and problems in a timely and efficient manner that aligns with business requirements. You will employ appropriate application maintenance, support, and incident management processes to investigate and resolve issues while coordinating with cross-functional teams to handle complex application and system problems. Additionally, you will design and maintain expertise in application processes and systems, supervise alerts related to application and system procedures, and provide proactive services to ensure system stability and performance.

The Hardware Operations team manages the physical infrastructure that powers Google's search technology and AI services. As a Data Center Operations Manager, you will lead a team of technicians responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of server hardware and network components. You will oversee complex installations and troubleshooting while ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our global data center operations. This role requires managing day-to-day operations, leading project teams, and developing contingency plans to support Google's massive scale infrastructure. You will partner with various stakeholders to implement facility strategies and maintain security and operational procedures. The team focuses on delivering unparalleled computing power and AI capabilities to global users. This position involves working with cutting-edge technologies including Linux clusters, network protocols, and large-scale hardware infrastructure. You will model teamwork and positive site culture while ensuring all operations align with organizational goals and safety standards.
