Facilities Technicians at Google data centers operate, monitor, and support physical facility conditions. You will handle heating and cooling of air and water, power supply, generators, UPS systems, electrical distribution, and control and monitoring systems. As a CBRE Building Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and repairing building system operations and the performance of various areas including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, focusing on providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. You will ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life while maintaining an energy management program to ensure efficient operations. You will perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems. The position requires compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and work safety. You will also review inspections to building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure equipment operates within design capabilities and achieves the environmental conditions prescribed by the client.
