Lead the mechanical design of high-speed sortation machines and conveyor systems to meet operational throughput and safety standards. Review technical drawings and specifications while acting as the primary technical contact for external vendors. Prepare detailed technical specifications for RFPs and oversee Factory Acceptance Testing to ensure machinery performance benchmarks are met. Drive project schedules from inception to handover, supervising on-site installation and leading Test & Commissioning phases to resolve mechanical bottlenecks. Maintain rigorous documentation including design version control, O&M manuals, and commissioning reports to ensure compliance with local engineering codes and corporate standards.

This role focuses on identifying packaging development opportunities and designing innovative solutions that align with customer needs and market trends. You will play a key part in the New Product Development (NPD) process by gathering and analyzing requirements to ensure projects progress smoothly through each phase. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Customer Science, R&D, and Sales, to translate market insights into commercial packaging solutions. You will also monitor the commercialization and sales performance of newly developed products to ensure they transition successfully into the innovative product portfolio. You will stay updated on global packaging trends and technologies to identify future business opportunities. The role involves supporting product presentations and technical discussions with internal stakeholders and customers as needed.
