About the position
Marsh is hiring an SVP – Treaty Broker based in Bangkok to manage property facultative business across Thailand and the Pacific. The role leads business development and revenue generation, manages reinsurance market relationships, develops client presentations, and oversees broking execution, documentation, and compliance. It also involves coordinating with the global network and providing technical training to clients and colleagues.
The position requires over 10 years of solid P&C reinsurance treaty experience and prior broking firm experience. Candidates must be proficient in English and Thai, with strong analytical, communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
Produce and manage business development and revenue generation for the property facultative business for Thailand
Lead and manage relationships with reinsurance markets
Develop and present new/renewal/prospective presentations to clients and reinsurers
Produce new clients and design programs for them, establishing relationships through meetings
Work with other brokers, technical support and placement teams to ensure a full quality process of the business
Requirements
Proficient in English and Thai, both verbal and written
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong ability to work with colleagues effectively at all levels; must be a good team player
Over 10 years solid P&C reinsurance treaty experience and solid experience in broking firms
