IT Stock Management

The role manages IT assets and the IT equipment warehouse throughout the asset lifecycle, covering procurement, receiving, storage, issuance, transfers, stocktaking, maintenance, disposal, and destruction. The manager maintains asset and stock records, monitors equipment movements and repairs, handles end-of-life equipment, and coordinates equipment handovers for new hires, transfers, and departing employees.

The position also supports audit and regulatory examinations, analyzes usage and procurement trends, prepares asset and inventory dashboards and reports, and tracks asset and stock accuracy KPIs. It improves asset and warehouse processes and supports IT asset-management policies and standards.

• Manage IT equipment inventory, including laptops, desktops, monitors, keyboards, mice, headsets, and peripherals.
• Control receiving, storage, issuance, monthly and annual stocktakes, and stock-level planning.
• Maintain accurate IT asset registers and verify asset data against asset-management systems.
• Track transfers, user changes, repairs, returns, and end-of-life equipment while coordinating employee equipment handovers.
• Support audits and regulatory examinations, prepare inventory dashboards and reports, and track asset and stock accuracy KPIs.

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
• At least 2-5 years of experience in IT asset management, IT inventory management, or IT support.
• Experience managing an asset database or CMDB is advantageous, as is warehouse and asset-counting experience.
• Knowledge of IT asset lifecycle management and hardware lifecycles for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Strong attention to detail, data analysis, reporting, communication, coordination, and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
