Banpu Public Company Limited is hiring an intern for its Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) team, which invests in and partners with startups, funds, and strategic partners supporting Banpu's growth in AI and energy. The internship runs January to April 2027 (2–4 months) onsite at Banpu Head Office in Bangkok, with onboarding on 4 January 2027 and applications due by October 16, 2026.
The intern will work directly with the CVC team on investment analysis and business development across AI infrastructure, data centers, energy technology, and decarbonization. Duties include market research focused on Southeast Asia, deal sourcing and pipeline maintenance, due diligence support, financial modeling and valuation, partner mapping, and drafting investment memos and committee materials. Applicants must be 2nd–4th year undergraduates or graduate students with a minimum GPA of 2.75.
Research markets and technology trends in AI infrastructure, data centers, power-for-compute, and energy tech, focused on Southeast Asia
Source and screen startups and funds against the CVC investment thesis and maintain the deal pipeline
Support due diligence on live deals, including market sizing, competitive analysis, and business model review
Build financial models, valuation analyses, and scenario analyses
Draft investment memo sections, Investment Committee materials, and management presentations
Currently studying in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year undergraduate program, or graduate student
Minimum GPA of 2.75
Demonstrate a "Can-Do Attitude" and willingness to learn
Able to participate onsite at Banpu Head Office in Bangkok
International students must arrange their own Non-Immigrant ED Visa and Bangkok accommodation
