About the position
Banpu Public Company Limited is offering an onsite internship at its Bangkok head office from January to April 2027 (2–4 months depending on university requirements), with mandatory onboarding on 4 January 2027. The intern will work within the Environment and Community function under HSEC.
Duties include researching environmental topics such as air emissions, waste, water, and biodiversity; reviewing environmental management practices and performance data; creating charts and graphs with data visualization tools; supporting waste, water, and environmental improvement initiatives; and preparing internal communication materials. Applicants must be 2nd–4th year undergraduates or graduate students with a minimum GPA of 2.75, studying environmental science, engineering, management, or a related field. Applications close 16 October 2026.
Responsibilities
Conduct research on selected environmental topics, including air emissions, waste, water, and biodiversity, under supervisor guidance.
Assist in reviewing environmental management practices and performance data.
Use existing data visualization tools to prepare basic charts and graphs communicating environmental performance.
Support assigned activities related to waste, water, and other environmental improvement initiatives.
Prepare communication materials to promote environmental awareness within the organization.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, environmental management, or a related field.
Undergraduate students in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year, or graduate students, may apply.
Minimum GPA of 2.75.
Good written and presentation communication skills.
Able to participate in the onsite internship at Banpu Head Office in Bangkok from 4 January 2027.
Nice to have
Basic knowledge of environmental topics such as air emissions, water, waste management, or environmental management systems like ISO 14001. Familiarity with Power BI or Canva.
