CP Axtra (Makro/Lotus's) is hiring a Department Manager for Security Architecture in Bangkok. This is a first-layer management role balancing customer delivery with business needs, leading people or projects within the Enterprise Architect function.
The manager contributes security guidance and verification to solution architecture for new and ongoing projects, ensuring security control objectives are applied. Duties include engaging and assessing security vendors, designing security architecture elements to mitigate emerging threats, balancing business requirements with information and cyber security requirements, and identifying security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures.
Contribute security-specific guidance and verification to target solution architecture for new/ongoing projects as part of the Enterprise Architect function
Lead engagement and assessment of solutions with security vendors for solution architecture and design activities
Design security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge
Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements
Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
Bachelor's or associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
10+ years of experience in security architecture design and implementation
Strong working knowledge of current IT risks, security implementations, and computer operating and software programs
Expertise in firewalls, IDS/IPS, network access controls, and network segmentation; experience with Windows, Linux, and UNIX
Understanding of ISO 27001/27002, COBIT, and ITIL frameworks; third-party auditing and cloud risk assessment skills
Advanced IT security certifications may be advantageous.
