About the position

This role involves managing the expansion of warehouse infrastructure to support growing business needs. You will oversee site construction and installation projects, ensuring that new facilities meet operational standards and safety requirements. The position requires close collaboration with landlords, developers, and vendors to deliver high-quality infrastructure on time. You will translate complex operational requirements into practical site layouts and manage the entire project lifecycle from feasibility studies to final handover.

You will be responsible for evaluating land suitability and infrastructure capacity while conducting thorough feasibility studies. This includes preparing and reviewing schematic designs for warehouses and distribution centers. You will coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the design and construction phases to ensure alignment with engineering standards. Additionally, you will manage vendor relationships by writing RFQ documents, comparing technical solutions, and selecting the best options for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate land suitability, access, and infrastructure capacity to identify technical risks
  • Translate logistics and operational requirements into practical site layouts including dock layouts and truck flow
  • Prepare and review schematic designs for warehouses and distribution centers
  • Conduct feasibility studies for new site locations
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders during design and construction stages
  • Ensure all projects meet engineering standards, safety requirements, and operational needs
  • Write RFQ documents and compare vendor solutions to select the best fit
  • Monitor vendor deliverables, installation progress, and testing/inspection processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 2-3 years of experience in Warehouse or Logistics or Process Engineering
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues into strategic insights
  • Proficient in AutoCAD or Civil 3D
  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with mechanical structures such as high racks, shelving, and conveyors
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Knowledge of construction management methodologies
