About the position

Responsibilities

  • Lead project kickoff meetings and establish project governance structures
  • Coordinate project activities and monitor progress to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating them as necessary
  • Develop strategies to optimize capacity, reduce transit times, and enhance service quality
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including operations and BI to align business objectives
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status and KPIs

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management and change management, preferably in logistics or transportation
  • 5-8 years of industry experience with a track record of business impact
  • Strong understanding of operations optimization principles and supply chain best practices
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex data and drive decision-making
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing cross-functional teams and multiple projects
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint

Nice to have

  • Experience in logistics or transportation management
  • Strong understanding of operations optimization principles and supply chain best practices
