About the position

The Senior Regulatory Risk Analyst will lead the development and scaling of proactive, data-driven regulatory risk programs to navigate complex legal and compliance landscapes. This role involves identifying emerging regulatory risks, assessing business impacts, and designing mitigation strategies that drive cross-functional execution across the organization. You will act as a strategic bridge between regulatory developments and business decisions, transforming fragmented signals into clear priorities and governance frameworks. The position requires a balance of structured analysis, executive communication, and hands-on program management to ensure the Customer Experience Group remains compliant and resilient in a dynamic environment.

You will oversee the implementation of risk controls, governance mechanisms, and response playbooks while managing government complaints and ensuring timely remediation. The role demands strong leadership in cross-functional initiatives, including creating cost models and business impact assessments for regulatory scenarios. You will also develop metrics and dashboards to measure program effectiveness and advise senior leadership on risk appetite and strategic responses. This is an opportunity to shape risk management practices at a global scale within a fast-paced, multicultural organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement controls, governance mechanisms, and response playbooks to minimize regulatory exposure
  • Build and operate a regulatory risk management framework to identify, assess, and track risks across markets
  • Translate external regulatory developments into clear business implications and recommended actions
  • Incorporate regulatory findings and enforcement outcomes into risk controls and escalation governance
  • Oversee the delivery of the CEG risk framework to ensure timely and accurate signals
  • Manage government complaints, intake, and closure while ensuring investigations and remediation are completed within agreed timeframes
  • Lead cross-functional remediation and regulatory response initiatives as the primary point of contact for regulators
  • Create cost models and business impact assessments for regulatory scenarios and mitigation options
  • Advise senior leaders on risk appetite, mitigation priorities, and strategic responses
  • Develop metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting to measure program effectiveness and control health

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in program management, regulatory risk management, or leading complex regulatory projects
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach to identifying process improvement opportunities
  • Proven experience building and leading cross-functional risk programs in fast-paced, high-growth, or highly regulated environments
  • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and resilience under ambiguity in dynamic and multicultural settings
  • Ability to independently manage a diverse stakeholder landscape, including senior leadership
  • Experience working across multiple countries or regions with differing legal and regulatory requirements
  • Strong program management skills with a track record of driving outcomes across matrixed organizations
  • Excellent executive communication skills to convey complex risk information clearly

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies for managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Program management certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, COPC, or equivalent
  • Experience in the travel industry with specific knowledge of online travel services
  • Experience with predictive analytics and AI-driven tools to enhance risk assessment capabilities
  • Excellent personal and interpersonal skills to lead teams and partner effectively with other departments
