Facility Maintenance Engineer - Shopee

This role focuses on the comprehensive management of facility and MEP systems to ensure operational excellence. You will oversee routine maintenance and troubleshooting for all building infrastructure, analyzing operational issues to propose effective technical solutions. The position requires planning and executing preventative and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and improve resource allocation. Additionally, you will conduct regular site visits across various locations to inspect facilities, manage contractor work, and resolve on-site issues efficiently. Travel to provincial sites with overnight stays is required to support multi-site facility management.

• Oversee, inspect, and handle routine maintenance and troubleshooting for all facility and MEP systems
• Analyze operational issues, gather necessary data, and propose effective technical solutions to fix facility problems
• Plan, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime
• Make data-driven decisions and technical recommendations for facility improvements and resource allocation
• Conduct site visits across various locations to inspect facilities, manage contractor work, and resolve on-site issues
• Travel to provincial sites with overnight stays as required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in facility management, MEP engineering, or building systems maintenance
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, data gathering, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multi-site facilities efficiently
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive
• Willing and able to travel and stay overnight in other provinces as needed

• Experience with facility management software or CMMS
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with contractors and stakeholders
