Financial Reporting Specialist - AIA Group Ltd

This role focuses on the preparation and analysis of financial statements to ensure accurate and timely reporting for AIA Thailand. You will collaborate with various departments to gather necessary data and reconcile accounts. The position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.

You will be responsible for maintaining internal controls and ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations. The role involves regular audits and the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency. You will also support the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure financial records are up to date.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes and assist with audit requests

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting
• Strong knowledge of Thai accounting standards and IFRS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Thai
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
