NXP is hiring an Application Operations Engineer based in Bangkok, Thailand, on a full-time basis. The role focuses on managing daily application operations, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and alerting, automating processes and deployments, handling certificates and user access, and supporting Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift activities.
Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in IT, electrical engineering, or a related field, with 2-3 years of DevOps or SRE experience. Required skills include Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Git/VCS, TLS/SSL certificate management, shell scripting, and familiarity with collaboration tools such as Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira, and MS Office. Excellent English communication is mandatory.
Manage general application related tasks and daily operation, including SW updates and CI/CD pipelines
Maintain and improve testing, monitoring, alerting, cleanup, and logging of application components
Support automation of processes, service deliveries, and deployment pipelines
Request and manage certificates and arrange/manage user access to relevant applications
Drive Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift related activities such as migrations, signatures, and documentation
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
2-3 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer role or related fields
Excellent English communication skills
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, Git/VCS, TLS/SSL certificate management, and SW deployment strategies
Experience reading and writing scripts such as shell scripting
Database skills (MS-SQL, MySQL, SQLite)
Basic knowledge of information security and cryptography
Experience implementing AI to improve efficiency
