Fleet Maintenance Lead - Operations

The Fleet Maintenance Lead - Operations supervises truck administration and maintenance teams, manages fleet readiness, and coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance with the Control Tower, workshops, and service providers. The role also covers vehicle documentation, insurance, inspections, fuel usage, fleet cards, budgets, accident repairs, and insurance claims.

The successful candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or a related field and be proficient with Microsoft Excel. Experience in fleet operations, logistics, transportation, or maintenance is a strong plus. The position requires analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to optimize maintenance schedules, manage exceptions, improve reliability, and reduce costs.

Supervise truck administration and maintenance teams, clarify responsibilities, ensure manpower coverage, and maintain consistent working standards.

Manage truck readiness and coordinate maintenance schedules and replacement vehicle requirements with the Control Tower.

Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, prioritize urgent repairs, and follow up with workshops to minimize downtime.

Review repair scopes, quotations, maintenance expenses, and budget variances within delegated authority.

Monitor workshop and service provider performance, vehicle compliance, fuel usage, fleet cards, vehicle records, accident repairs, and insurance claims.

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or a related field is required.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting.

Experience in fleet operations, logistics, transportation, or maintenance is a strong plus.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to optimize schedules and manage exceptions.
