Associate Director, Strategic Sourcing

This role involves negotiating favourable terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts with suppliers for the procurement of goods and services. The Associate Director will prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders from end to end. They are tasked with developing and implementing sourcing strategies for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, and process efficiency. The position also requires establishing procurement controls and guidelines, reviewing purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to AIA policies, and discussing delivery and performance issues with suppliers. The role involves participation in organisation-wide sourcing and procurement projects and aligning with business policy to build long-term business growth.

Negotiate favourable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers and third-party providers

Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders from end to end

Develop and implement sourcing strategies for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, service delivery improvements and process efficiency

Establish procurement controls and guidelines

Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to AIA policies

Discuss problems on delivery and performance with suppliers and third-party providers

Involve in organisation-wide sourcing and procurement projects

Responsible for other relating tasks as assigned to align with business policy and build long term business growth
