Senior SAP Basis Consultant - Deloitte

You will serve as a Level 2 or 3 AMS support specialist, handling escalated production incidents and performing in-depth troubleshooting to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA). You will lead problem management initiatives to identify root causes and deliver permanent fixes, while also participating in the design and implementation of medium to complex enhancements. Additionally, you will maintain comprehensive documentation, adhere to standard operating procedures, and contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives. You will support project teams in delivering solutions that align with client business goals and assist in business development efforts by preparing proposals and presentations. As a leader, you will mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative environment that drives value for clients across all industries.

• Provide Level 2 or 3 AMS support for escalated production incidents and perform in-depth troubleshooting.
• Conduct problem management to identify root causes and deliver permanent fixes.
• Lead discussions on solution design for enhancements and perform effort estimations.
• Maintain documentation according to firm standards and best practices.
• Support project teams in delivering solution applications and developing work products.
• Coordinate communications and develop presentation materials for clients.
• Mentor and coach Analyst and Consultant level team members.
• Contribute to business development efforts by preparing proposals and presentations.

• Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in SAP AMS, with a strong focus on Basis administration.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC in a support or implementation capacity.
• Good knowledge of integration with related modules to understand end-to-end business processes.
• Basic technical debugging skills are an added advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience leading a team is preferred.
• Experience delivering solutions on both cloud and on-premise platforms.
• Familiarity with traditional waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.
• ITIL or Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are preferred.
• Strong command of the English language; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Ability to lead discussions and engage stakeholders effectively.
• Proactive and resourceful with the ability to rally team members to collaborate.
• Flexibility to work on rotation and outside standard office hours when required.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

• Experience with SAP GRC modules.
• Proficiency in additional languages such as Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia/Indonesia, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse and inclusive team environment.
