The AI Engineer plays a critical role in designing, building, and deploying AI and Generative AI solutions to drive business value. This position focuses on enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency by developing enterprise-grade AI applications, agents, and automation workflows. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions across various business domains, including customer care and network operations. The AI Expert (LLMs & Generative AI) is responsible for designing, developing, and scaling AI solutions that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and modern AI platforms to solve business challenges and create measurable value. This role works closely with business stakeholders, AI Business Partners, data engineers, and solution architects to translate requirements into production-ready AI applications, including copilots, intelligent assistants, agentic workflows, knowledge management solutions, and process automation use cases. The AI Expert evaluates emerging AI technologies, establishes technical best practices, ensures responsible AI implementation, and drives the adoption of scalable AI architectures aligned with enterprise standards, security requirements, and governance frameworks. Qualification: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in software development, machine learning, data science, or AI engineering. * Strong expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, AI agents, and model orchestration frameworks. * Hands-on experience with leading AI platforms and cloud services such as Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock, or equivalent technologies. * Proficiency in Python and modern AI development frameworks, with a solid understanding of machine learning concepts, API integrations, MLOps, and enterprise solution architecture. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences. * Experience implementing responsible AI practices, model evaluation frameworks, and production-grade AI solutions is highly desirable.
