Kyndryl is hiring a Technology Platform Engineer (internal title: Software Engineering Technical Specialist) in Bangkok to design, develop, operate, and continuously improve Technology Automation Platforms supporting critical enterprise workloads. Responsibilities include hybrid infrastructure engineering, Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD pipelines, platform reliability, monitoring/observability, incident resolution, and partnering with development, security, architecture, and operations teams on modernization and cloud transformation.
The role requires at least 4 years of experience in platform engineering, system administration, DevOps, cloud, or container platforms, plus 3+ years of hands-on work with listed technologies such as AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes/Docker, and databases including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and Elasticsearch. Strong scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, and Ansible Playbooks is required, along with Thai and English communication skills.
Design, develop, operate, and manage scalable, resilient, and secure Technology Automation Platforms
Build, maintain, and optimize hybrid infrastructure environments across cloud and on-premises platforms
Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code solutions, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, observability, and disaster recovery readiness
Automate deployment, configuration management, patch management, upgrades, and security compliance
Perform root cause analysis, incident management, and troubleshooting of complex platform issues; partner with development, security, architecture, and operations teams on modernization
Minimum 4 years of experience in Linux/Windows administration, middleware, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, container platforms, or infrastructure automation
Minimum 3 years of strong hands-on experience with technologies such as AWS, Terraform, Ansible, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, HashiCorp Vault, ArgoCD, or Apache Tomcat
Strong scripting and automation experience using Ansible Playbooks, Bash, PowerShell, and Python
Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Thai and English
Experience in BFSI or other regulated enterprise environments; containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift); SRE practices, observability and platform security; supporting AI-enabled cloud-native platforms; Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering; relevant AWS, Terraform, DevOps, or Cloud certifications
