This role sits within Deloitte Southeast Asia's SAP team, focusing on SAP ABAP solutions. The consultant will drive the growth of the SAP business in the region and be responsible for the creation, sale, and delivery of SAP solutions, including Functional and Technical Design, SAP Application & Systems Development, and SAP Business Transformation.
Key duties include engaging clients in workshops to analyze process and reporting requirements, advising on SAP leading practices, designing target state SAP solutions, performing SAP configuration and tests, developing specifications for forms/reports/interfaces, and leading teams through implementation cycles including testing, migration, and cutover. The role also involves supporting change management and developing stakeholder relationships.
Engage clients in workshops and interviews to analyze process and reporting requirements
Advise clients on industry/cross-industry leading practices and SAP recommended processes
Design target state SAP solutions and influence clients in adopting leading practices
Perform SAP configuration and tests; develop specifications for forms/reports/interfaces
Lead consultant and client teams through implementation cycles including testing, migration, and cutover
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
4+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development
Proven hands-on experience with ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) and SAP Business Process Automation (BPA)
Proficiency in ABAP programming, including ABAP Objects, CDS views, OData services, SAP Fiori and UI5 development
Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, data model, and various SAP modules (FI, CO, PS, TR, MM, PM)
Experience with SAP BTP and cloud-native development; knowledge of integration technologies (APIs, SOAP, REST); BPM or Lean Six Sigma certifications; experience with SAP BPA tools (SAP Build Process Automation, SAP IRPA, SAP CPI/PO); scripting languages such as JavaScript
