About the position
Youtap Limited is seeking a Backend Java Developer to join their Financial Services team in Thailand. The role involves working closely with experienced developers to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems for digital banking and payment solutions. Responsibilities include developing cloud-based backend systems using Java and the Spring Framework, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring system security, scalability, and performance. The position requires troubleshooting technical issues, participating in code reviews, and maintaining documentation.
Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain backend systems and APIs using Java, Spring Framework, and other frameworks and technologies as required.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and designers, to define and implement new features and enhancements.
Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of the backend systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
5+ years of experience in backend development, preferably in the financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Framework.
Strong knowledge of other backend technologies such as Hibernate, PostgreSQL, and RESTful APIs.
Experience with cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Pipelines) is essential.

Experience with Digital Wallet, Digital Banking and Enterprise Applications
