Data Platform Engineer - Lineman Wongnai

LINE MAN Wongnai is Thailand's leading On-Demand Delivery and Lifestyle e-Commerce platform. We are seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design and manage scalable data infrastructure. You will work closely with product and data teams to build fault-tolerant systems that support millions of users. This role involves optimizing end-to-end data pipelines and ensuring high availability for our core services.

You will be responsible for defining architecture patterns and enforcing best practices to ensure platform reliability. The role requires deep expertise in distributed computing and cloud infrastructure. You will also manage production deployments and monitoring systems to maintain system health.

• Define and implement scalable architecture patterns and design principles
• Build fault-tolerant, self-healing data processing applications
• Develop end-to-end data models for streaming and batch pipelines
• Optimize and scale the data platform across multiple teams
• Enable data engineers to improve ETL processes with monitoring systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists and product managers
• Manage continuous deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of production systems

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• 1+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java
• Solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and System Design
• Experience with distributed computing technologies (Kafka, Flink, Spark, Hive, HDFS, Presto, Druid/Imply)
• Experience with data infrastructure components (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, monitoring, and system logging
• Proficient in English language skills
