Sertis is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver software features and services while strengthening system reliability, scalability, and operational health. The position combines software engineering with site reliability engineering across the full software development life cycle, including requirements, design, testing, deployment, and operations.
The engineer will own well-defined work, participate in code reviews, build microservices and distributed systems, improve cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, and take part in on-call rotations and incident investigations. Candidates should have at least three years of software development experience, a relevant bachelor's degree, JavaScript and Node.js skills, Linux familiarity, cloud experience, and strong spoken and written English.
• Write clean, well-structured, and testable code with attention to performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Build and improve services, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response
• Develop and maintain microservices and distributed systems
• Contribute to infrastructure, deployment work, cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
• Participate in on-call rotations, production incident investigations, debugging, and troubleshooting
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience, including delivering features or projects from start to finish
• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js, with experience in Next.js, React.js, or Express
• Comfortable working and scripting in a Linux environment
• Working knowledge of AWS or Google Cloud and CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Thai national or currently based in Bangkok, with strong spoken and written English
Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus. Interest in growing into SRE practices, including monitoring, observability, incident response, on-call, and postmortems, is also preferred.
