The role sits within Deloitte's Enterprise Technology & Performance service line and supports technology strategy and transformation advisory work for clients in the telecommunications industry. The analyst helps assess business needs, gather requirements, review functional specifications, support solution prototyping and architecture redesign, validate technology-enabled solutions with clients, and contribute to proposals and point-of-view publications.
The position requires at least five years of experience in IT management consulting and IT implementation in telecommunications. Candidates should have a relevant honors or postgraduate degree, familiarity with the overall software development lifecycle, and experience with cloud implementation using AWS, GCP, or Azure. Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, leadership, and consulting skills are also required.
Provide end-to-end advisory support, industry insights, and technology-enabled solutions to address client business needs
Manage assessment and business requirements gathering and review functional specifications against business requirements
Support solution prototyping and architecture redesign, and validate technology-enabled solutions through client discussions, presentations, and workshops
Perform quality assurance and ensure timely delivery of project work products
Coach project teams, support senior team members, formulate proposals, and develop client responses and point-of-view publications
Good honors degree, preferably postgraduate, in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management consulting and IT implementation in the telecommunications industry
Involvement in the overall SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment or release, data migration, and project management
Experience with cloud implementation using AWS, GCP, or Azure; relevant cloud architect certification is a bonus
Strong analytical and communication skills in English, self-motivation, ability to work under changing priorities, business acumen, teamwork, leadership, and willingness to travel locally and abroad
Cloud Certified Architect certification in AWS, GCP, or Azure; experience with solution prototyping and architecture redesign
