Lead Software Engineer (Time Series)

The Lead Software Engineer (Time Series) leads development activities in an agile team, including technical solutions, design, quality coding, software testing, coaching and mentoring. The role delivers enterprise software that meets customer needs and involves continuous improvement of operational efficiency.

The engineer translates business and technical requirements into detailed design specifications, develops reusable, reliable and secure code, participates in planning and refinement, and reviews junior developers' code. Qualifications include a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or computer engineering, at least five years of software architecture and development experience, and expertise in Java, Python or JavaScript.

Expertise in Java, Python and/or JavaScript, with SQL and database experience.

Knowledge of distributed systems, cloud technology, secure coding and architecture practices.

Practical experience with agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum and JIRA.
