Unilever is hiring a Global Packing Technology Lead for its Home Care business in Bangkok, focused on liquids packing. The role provides expertise and leads new packing machinery solutions to support innovation, net productivity, and capex efficiency across Asia. Responsibilities include developing complex innovation solutions for HC liquids packing, identifying capex-efficient partners, transferring expertise on new rigids packing solutions to supply chain teams, and partnering with R&D Packaging to ensure new formats are designed for efficient manufacture. The position also benchmarks internal and external packaging operations, drives automation and waste reduction, and works with Business Units and Site Engineering following the EEM process.
The role requires a qualification in Mechanical or Packing Engineering and experience in packing engineering within a large-scale consumer goods factory, specifically on rigids liquid packing lines. Candidates should have experience landing new innovations and technologies with high packing complexity, connecting with external packing machine suppliers in a central technology role, and developing new packing technologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills are required, along with the ability to motivate inclusive teams.
