Data Analytics Manager

UOB (Thai) Public Company Limited is hiring a Data Analytics Manager for its Bangkok City Area operations. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications, designing and developing scripts on HUE Cloudera, and conducting UAT and production deployment. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing large datasets using Power BI, Hue, Impala, and Hive, building dashboards, designing data models and algorithms, performing data integrity audits, and maintaining SQL queries and Power BI dashboards to support management decision-making.

The position requires a Bachelor's or higher degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, plus at least 5 years of banking sector experience. Candidates must be proficient in SQL, Python, R, Excel, and Power BI, with strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, and fluency in written and spoken English.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives, and translate them into clear technical specifications

Design and develop scripts on the HUE Cloudera, conduct UAT, and execute deployment into production

Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets using Power BI, Hue, Impala, and Hive; develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations

Design and implement data models and algorithms to identify trends, patterns, and insights; optimize data processes and workflows

Perform regular audits and validation checks to maintain data integrity and accuracy; provide ad-hoc data analysis and reporting

Bachelor's or higher degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field

Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the banking sector

Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Excel, and data visualization tools like Power BI

Strong knowledge of banking systems; proficient in spoken and written English
