Marketing Planning Officer (Foodservice) - SCGP (Bang Sue based)

This role is responsible for studying and analyzing market trends, technology, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities in the food-packaging business. The work includes sourcing and developing products, materials, technologies, and innovations that respond to market and customer requirements.

The position involves market and customer analysis, new-customer development, sourcing evaluation, and exploration of new products, manufacturing technologies, and service innovations. It is based at SCG’s Bang Sue headquarters in Bangkok. The posting welcomes recent graduates with relevant university qualifications and required analytical, market-research, and English-language skills.

• Study and monitor market trends, new technologies, and regulations related to the food-packaging business

• Analyze new markets, customer groups, customer operating processes, and value chains to identify business opportunities

• Study and analyze customer needs concerning products, processes, services, prices, and distribution channels

• Find and develop opportunities to expand the new-customer base in line with market needs

• Source and evaluate new products, technologies, materials, and machinery or equipment to support business development

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Printing and Packaging, or a related field, with GPAX of at least 2.70

• Good English skills, with TOEIC 550

• Skills in market research, data analysis, and customer-needs analysis

• Knowledge and understanding of Foodservice Packaging (FEST) products

• Experience in sourcing solutions and supplier management will be considered favorably

• Able to work regularly at SCG’s Bang Sue headquarters in Bangkok
