Strategic Planning Analyst - Shopee

This role focuses on developing and monitoring cross-country frameworks to optimize platform growth and profitability across Southeast Asia markets. You will frame ambiguous business questions into actionable quantitative models and strategic frameworks. The position requires synthesizing complex data into clear presentations for executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. You will monitor industry trends and external benchmarks to identify strategic growth opportunities in the e-commerce and tech sectors.

• Develop and monitor cross-country frameworks and efficiency metrics to optimize platform growth and profitability across SEA markets
• Frame and structure ambiguous, open-ended business questions into actionable quantitative models and strategic frameworks
• Monitor industry trends, external market benchmarks, and platform dynamics to spot strategic growth opportunities
• Synthesize complex data into clear, structured presentation decks and strategic summaries for executive leadership

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field
• 1–3 years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, business intelligence, or data analytics
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data querying, manipulation, and statistical modeling
• Ability to apply structured frameworks to break down complex problems and estimate hard-to-find information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Familiarity with data visualization tools and data warehousing principles
• E-commerce or tech background
• Comfortable translating data insights into clean, structured presentation decks
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
