Forensic & Financial Crime Manager - Deloitte

You will lead and manage forensic investigations and financial crime advisory projects across Thailand and Southeast Asia. This role involves supervising engagement teams, reviewing financial documents, and calculating the financial impact of fraud or misconduct. You will draft and review reports for clients, regulators, and legal counsel, while mentoring junior staff to develop their skills. Additionally, you will contribute to business development initiatives, including creating proposals and participating in market eminence activities to grow the practice.

As a Manager, you will demonstrate leadership within a mixed team of local and JCS members. You are expected to drive high performance, ensure quality and risk management on engagements, and influence stakeholders positively. You will align your team with key objectives, make informed decisions that enhance financial performance, and apply your understanding of emerging fraud trends and regulatory requirements to deliver superior value.

• Manage and supervise engagement teams for forensic investigations and financial crime projects.
• Review financial documents and analyze data to identify inaccuracies and discrepancies.
• Calculate the financial impact of fraud, corruption, or misconduct.
• Draft and review reports for clients, lawyers, and regulators.
• Mentor and train junior staff to enhance their professional development.
• Contribute to business development by creating impactful proposals.
• Monitor revenue, WIP, and billing on engagements to ensure quality and risk management.
• Participate in market eminence activities to grow the practice in Thailand.

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Forensic Accounting, Fraud & Financial Investigations, Corporate Intelligence, or Internal Audit.
• Preference for CIA or CPA qualifications or equivalent professional certifications.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and report writing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a cohesive team environment and manage projects effectively.
• Ability to identify issues quickly and present effective solutions.
• Thai native with strong English proficiency (business level).
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on short notice.

• Proficiency in regional languages other than English and Thai.
• Data analytics skills including coding (e.g., SQL, Python).
• Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
• Ability to lead or participate as a team member in client projects on a daily basis.
• Mindset for proactive problem-solving and continuous learning.
