Security Manager - DHL Thailand

You will lead and manage security operations to ensure the safety and integrity of DHL's global logistics network. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies that align with international standards and regulatory requirements. You will oversee risk management processes, conduct security assessments, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate potential threats. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring the protection of assets, personnel, and information across all operational sites.

As a Security Manager, you will be responsible for training and mentoring security teams to maintain high operational standards. You will analyze security data and trends to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement in security protocols. The role demands strong leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining DHL's reputation as a secure and reliable logistics provider in a complex global environment.

• Develop and implement security policies and procedures aligned with international standards
• Conduct regular security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses
• Oversee security operations and ensure compliance with local and international regulations
• Coordinate with law enforcement and government agencies on security matters
• Manage security budgets and allocate resources effectively
• Lead incident response and crisis management activities
• Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management or law enforcement
• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation industry
• Strong knowledge of international security standards and regulations
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions in emergency situations
• Professional security certification (e.g., CPP, CISM, CISSP) is highly desirable

• Experience with physical security systems and access control
• Knowledge of cyber security principles and data protection
• Fluency in English and Thai
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to travel frequently to various operational sites
