Chapter Lead of Software Development

This role leads a cross-functional engineering team comprising Software Engineers, DevOps, Cloud Engineers, System Analysts, and UX/UI professionals. The primary objective is to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions for Core Retail operations in Thailand and Malaysia. Responsibilities include managing large engineering teams, enforcing engineering standards and technology roadmaps, driving strategic resource planning, and managing vendor relationships and budgets. The position also involves mentoring the adoption of AI-SDLC to enhance productivity and ensuring solutions meet IT standards and SLAs.

Lead cross-functional teams including Software Engineer, DevOps, Cloud Engineer, System Analysis, and UX/UI

Manage large engineering teams to deliver solutions on time and within budget

Governance of high-scale, resilient, and cost-optimized systems

Establish and enforce engineering standards and technology roadmaps

Drive strategic resource planning and talent development

Manage vendor relationships and performance management

Manage and optimize software development and outsourcing budgets

Lead and mentor the adoption of AI-SDLC

10–15 years of total IT experience with a strong background in Software Engineering, Solution Architecture, and AI Development

At least 3 years of experience in people management within software/solution delivery

Familiar with Agile adoption in large software development teams (10 - 20 squads)

Familiar with modern programming skills such as Java, Golang, NodeJS, Frontend, and Backend Technology

Familiar with modern architecture such as Microservice, Event-driven Architecture, and Enterprise Architect

Comfortable communicating with Executive Leadership
