Commerce Lead

The Commerce Lead at WPP Media (listed internally as Director of eCommerce) provides commerce and retail media strategy across multiple client accounts in Bangkok. Responsibilities include championing WPP Commerce adoption, partnering with marketplaces such as Lazada and Shopee, integrating commerce with brand media, developing measurement frameworks, and building tools, training, and playbooks to elevate biddable commerce media buying. The role requires 10+ years of experience in ecommerce/retail strategy, partner management, and campaign optimization across retail platforms, with strong stakeholder management and commercial acumen.

Champion the adoption of WPP Commerce across existing and new business

Support client teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that accomplish client business objectives

Develop robust partnerships with key marketplaces (Lazada, Shopee) and affiliates/retail partners

Build and refine internal tools, processes, and reporting dashboards to streamline retail media operations

Own pipelining, forecasting, and delivery of group Commerce solutions and projects

Expert knowledge of the retail landscape and relevant industry topics

Strategic problem solver able to translate client briefs into effective solutions

High-level stakeholder management and strong communication/presentation skills

10+ years of experience in ecommerce/retail strategy, partner management, and campaign management

Experience managing campaigns across multiple retail platforms (Lazada, Shopee, Google, Meta, TikTok Shop)
