Technology Strategy & Transformation Manager - Deloitte

You will lead technology-driven transformations for Japanese financial institutions across Southeast Asia, focusing on process design, data management, and system implementation. Your role involves addressing complex management challenges through digital expertise, supporting executives like CIOs and CDOs, and driving end-to-end governance and optimization. You will collaborate with diverse internal teams to deliver holistic solutions, from strategic planning to execution, while managing mixed teams of local and Japanese staff. This position requires a strategic mindset to propose innovative solutions that create tangible value for clients.

As a Manager, you will demonstrate leadership by mentoring high-performing teams, securing new business through proposal activities, and fostering a culture of collaboration and inclusion. You will be responsible for defining architecture concepts for legacy modernization and cloud journeys, as well as overseeing ServiceNow implementations to enhance employee experiences. Your ability to influence stakeholders and drive high-quality results will be essential in advancing the firm's mission of making a positive impact on client businesses.

• Lead global projects with mixed teams of local and Japanese staff to drive technology transformations
• Formulate strategies and visions for creating new corporate and social values
• Design DX visions, strategies, and operating models for clients
• Support the optimization of enterprise IT and specific architecture areas globally
• Define architecture concepts for legacy modernization, digital platforms, and cloud journeys
• Implement and operate ServiceNow solutions to support IT business transformation and employee experience
• Collaborate with internal teams such as financial industry consultants, M&A consultants, and cloud strategy consultants
• Mentor and develop diverse, high-performing teams through meaningful development opportunities
• Secure new business opportunities through proposal activities and client development

• Experience in consulting firms, IT vendors, or systems integrators (SIer) related to technology strategy and transformation
• Proven track record of managing global projects with mixed teams
• Experience in leading projects and contributing to securing projects through proposal activities
• Native-level proficiency in Japanese and business-level English, or native-level English and business-level Japanese
• Currently employed at a consulting firm or IT vendor with experience in architecture (cloud, data architecture)
• Experience implementing and operating ServiceNow
• Experience conceptualizing, establishing, and executing new businesses
• Experience planning and proposing business plans from a technology perspective
• Experience driving field transformations such as business reform
• Strong desire to propose solutions to executives like CIOs and CDOs from a management perspective
• Enthusiasm for developing new services and creating customer value

• Expertise in the financial industry, specifically in Banking, Insurance, or Securities
• Knowledge of banking accounting, core systems, and operational systems
• Understanding of life and non-life insurance sectors and core business operations
• Familiarity with securities industry operational processes
• Consulting experience related to Southeast Asia
