Senior Associate, AI Engineer - True Corporation

The AI Engineer plays a critical role in designing, building, and deploying AI and Generative AI solutions to drive business value. This position focuses on enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency by developing enterprise-grade AI applications, agents, and automation workflows. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions across various business domains, including customer care and network operations. Additionally, the engineer will contribute to the development of foundational AI platforms and services, ensuring robust MLOps and LLMOps practices are in place for scalable production environments.

Key responsibilities include supporting the full lifecycle of AI/ML and GenAI solutions, from initial design and development to deployment and monitoring. The engineer will work on building and enhancing AI platforms, including APIs, orchestration components, and foundational capabilities such as RAG and vector databases. They will also participate in data pipeline development, model deployment, and governance activities to ensure security and compliance. The role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI initiatives, including proof-of-concepts and experimentation with internal teams and technology partners.

• Support the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML and Generative AI solutions, including AI applications, agents, and automation workflows for enterprise and telecom use cases
• Assist in building and enhancing AI platforms and services, including APIs, orchestration components, and foundational capabilities such as RAG, vector databases, and prompt engineering
• Contribute to AI engineering and MLOps/LLMOps activities, including data pipeline development, model deployment, monitoring, and supporting governance, security, and compliance practices
• Support the delivery of AI use cases across business domains by collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams and technology partners to support AI initiatives, experimentation, and proof-of-concepts while gaining experience in scaling AI solutions in production environments

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields
• 0–3 years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or machine learning
• Basic experience in developing or supporting AI/ML or Generative AI solutions
• Basic programming skills in Python and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks
• Understanding of Generative AI and LLM concepts
• Basic knowledge of RAG, vector databases, and prompt engineering concepts
• Good analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Basic understanding of Responsible AI, data governance, and security practices

• Exposure to cloud platforms or modern application architectures
• Experience working in team-based environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Relevant certifications in AI, cloud, or data platforms (e.g., Azure AI, AWS, GCP)
• Certifications or exposure in MLOps, DevOps, or related areas
• Familiarity with APIs, microservices, containerization (e.g., Docker), or CI/CD concepts
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
