SR&T Consultant, Regulatory & Financial Risk

Deloitte is expanding its Strategy, Risk, and Transaction (SR&T) – Regulatory & Financial Risk practice in Southeast Asia, based in Bangkok. The Consultant will advise financial services clients on risk transformation, regulatory compliance, and quantitative modeling across areas such as Basel, IFRS 9, liquidity, credit, market, and operational risk. Responsibilities include engaging with senior client stakeholders, gathering and analyzing requirements, developing tailored solutions, coordinating regional teams, and supporting proposals and project delivery.

Candidates should hold a degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accountancy, Risk Management, or a related field, with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in consulting, banking, or financial services. Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, or CFA are advantageous. Strong analytical, communication, and client management skills are required, along with proficiency in English and the ability to work independently under demanding timelines.

Engage with clients to understand business goals, provide advisory support, and address technical and functional challenges

Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders to consistently exceed expectations

Independently gather and analyze client requirements, developing tailored business solutions

Provide expertise on risk management technologies, methodologies, and regulatory frameworks, and develop quantitative risk models

Coordinate regional teams across Southeast Asia and support project management activities including scope, planning, execution, and delivery

Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accountancy, Risk Management, or related field

Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, or CFA are an added advantage

1 to 2 years of relevant experience in consulting, banking, or financial services

Strong domain knowledge in Basel, IFRS 9, Liquidity, Credit Risk, and Banking Regulations

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word with advanced skills
