Analyst/Senior Analyst/Associate Manager, Corporate Strategy (Tokyo Based)

Agoda's Corporate Strategy team works directly with management to deliver business-critical insights through analytics, align cross-functional goals, and drive strategic initiatives. The role focuses on information generation and strategy formulation at the business level, partnering with senior executives across product, supply, marketing, and finance to set strategy and advance key initiatives.

Responsibilities include conducting industry and competitor analysis, building performance dashboards, creating business cases, supporting board and management materials, and writing SQL queries. The position is based in Bangkok, Thailand or Tokyo, Japan, with relocation support provided.

Conduct industry and competitor data analysis to support definition of priorities and key issues

Build dashboards to track performance, derive insights, and communicate recommendations via presentations

Create business cases for initiatives across Agoda

Support articulation of country, department, and strategy

Support ad hoc projects and lead independent workstreams; assist Directors and Associate Directors with Board and Management materials

Build SQL queries to gather data from multiple databases and work with the analytics team

Experience in data analysis from top-tier consulting, investment banking, private equity, or strategy/business roles in a fast-growing global technology company

Bachelor's degree or higher from a top university in a quantitative subject (e.g., computer science, mathematics, engineering, business, science)

Background working experience in a consultancy firm

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of SQL or Tableau, or willingness to learn; excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
