The Country Finance team at Grab is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, planning and analysis, business partnering, compliance and governance, and decision support. This role reports to the Head of Controllership and focuses on the daily operations of the accounting department. You will collaborate with the Shared Service team on General Ledger operations, including journal entry review, account reconciliations, and month-end close procedures. You will also prepare financial statements and variance reports, manage internal controls, and coordinate with internal and external audit teams to ensure regulatory compliance and the financial integrity of the company. This position requires a strong operational understanding of accounting principles governing complex corporate structures and multi-entity frameworks. You will analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for process optimization, while overseeing and mentoring accounting staff. The role involves handling large amounts of data and meeting tight deadlines, requiring excellent prioritization skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
