Sr Technician

The Sr Technician role supports CBRE's Engineering and Technical Services function in Bangkok within the GWS segment. The position oversees building automation systems and total facilities systems management, including connected and separate electrical, mechanical, life-safety, and other operational systems.

Duties include preventive and emergency maintenance, repairs, system inspections, work-order review, contractor oversight, incident reporting, and adherence to safety codes and regulations. Applicants need a high school diploma, GED, or trade-school diploma and four to five years of relevant experience, with shift-leader or supervisory experience preferred. The role also requires lifting heavy loads and using Microsoft Office.

• Maintain a total facilities systems management program covering electrical, mechanical, life-safety, and other operational systems.
• Inspect systems and oversee scheduling, work requests, contractor work, installations, upgrades, maintenance, and inspections.
• Review work orders, estimate time and resources, order materials, and complete assigned repairs.
• Perform preventive and emergency maintenance and complete required maintenance and repair records.
• Respond to emergencies, report unsafe conditions, and stop work when required.

• High school diploma, GED, or trade-school diploma, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Four to five years of job-related experience; prior shift-leader or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more and meet physical duties such as stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs or ladders.
• Ability to exercise judgment using information from multiple sources.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
