Data Architect (Banking)

Capco is seeking a governance-focused Data Architect to design, develop, and evolve BankX's enterprise data architecture. The role covers logical and physical data modeling, architecture standards, semantic layers, data marts, feature stores, and alignment of batch, streaming, and real-time data flows.

The architect will work with data engineers, data scientists, AI/ML engineers, business stakeholders, and governance and privacy teams. Responsibilities include pipeline implementation using Azure Data Services, Databricks, and Delta Lake, storage and performance optimization, metadata integration, and policy enforcement. Candidates need at least six years in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles, strong data modeling, SQL, and distributed data systems skills, and intermediate or better Thai and English proficiency.

• Define and maintain logical and physical data models across enterprise data domains
• Establish architecture principles, naming conventions, and modeling standards
• Design semantic layers, data marts, and feature stores for analytics and AI use cases
• Optimize data storage, partitioning, and indexing for performance and cost
• Collaborate with governance, privacy, engineering, science, and business teams

• 6+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles
• Strong expertise in data modeling, SQL, and distributed data systems
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Services, Databricks, Delta Lake, and Lakehouse architecture
• Familiarity with metadata management, data governance, and privacy frameworks
• Intermediate or better proficiency in Thai and English
