Merchandise Manager - Alcohol

This role involves planning and selecting Commercial - Alcohol Products to sell, setting plans to achieve sales and other income, and managing budgets allocated to suppliers. The position requires assessing customer demand, analyzing market trends, and ensuring products meet quality and pricing benchmarks. The manager will also manage stock levels, negotiate contracts with suppliers, and participate in promotional activities.

Plan and select a range of Commercial - Alcohol Products

Set up plans to achieve sales and other income

Manage and control budgets allocated to each supplier

Assess customer demand including price, quality, and availability

Capture, analyze, and predict future market trends

Implement store policies

Evaluate company financial budgets for Commercial - Alcohol Products

Maximize profits at competitive prices via benchmarking

Ensure products match or better quality than benchmarks and are priced lower

Understand Commercial - Alcohol Products season, popularity, and product timing

Regularly review performance indicators such as sales and discount levels

Manage plans for stock levels

React to changes in demand and logistics

Meet suppliers and negotiate contract terms

Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and source new ones

Participate in promotional activities and understand customer needs

Write reports and forecast sales levels; present to Senior Commercial Manager

Train and mentor junior staff

Bachelor degree in marketing, international business administration or any related field

Minimum 6 years' experiences in sourcing or buying experience in grocery assortments

Team Leader with sound leadership skills

Strong negotiation skill and good sense of Merchandising and commercial

Initiative, proactive, positive thinking and can do attitude

Multitask, quick response and can work under pressure

Resulted and details oriented

Good command of English

Excellent in computer usage of MS Office
