Senior Analyst, FinTech Commercial [SHP] - Agoda

The Fintech Commercial team connects external fintech partners with Agoda's Finance department. This role focuses on the business side of Agoda's 'Pay-in' and 'Pay-out' pillars. The analyst will analyze payment partner commercials, validate strategic deals, and own invoice reconciliation. They will also drive business case development for new fintech initiatives and implement payments optimization strategies. The position requires a results-oriented professional to manage commercial operations and controls within a fast-paced environment.

Perform monthly reconciliation of fintech partner commercials (PSPs, Payment schemes, etc.) on a timely basis

Validate partner invoices against contractual terms and transaction-level data

Ensure reconciliation data pipelines remain accurate and complete by coordinating with BI and external partners

Be the trusted owner of reconciliation controls, maintaining clear documentation and partnering with stakeholders to ensure smooth audit walkthroughs each cycle

Maintain documentation trails and process controls in accordance with Finance governance

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field

Minimum 2 years of experience in: Consulting (Big4 preferred), Corporate Finance, Fintech / Payments, Commercial Finance or Deal Analytics

Advanced Excel skills: financial modeling proficiency required

Analytical mindset with strong quantitative skills

Detail-oriented with strong internal control awareness

Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Experience in payment ecosystem (PSPs, Payment schemes, etc.)

Experience building structured business cases for senior stakeholders

Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environment

Knowledge of OTA business models (Merchant, Agency, Commission-based etc.)
