Strategy Analyst (Commodity Markets) - Accenture

You will join the Accenture Commodity Markets global practice, focusing on advising clients across the energy, chemicals, agriculture, and metals sectors. Your role involves working within cross-office teams to solve complex business challenges using advanced analytics and strategic frameworks. You will support project delivery by conducting quantitative analysis, developing investment valuations, and designing operating models to help clients navigate market volatility and energy transitions.

This position offers significant exposure to international projects and a collaborative environment where you can develop expertise in trading and risk management, financial structuring, and corporate strategy. You will have the opportunity to work with senior business leaders and contribute to the development of thought leadership within the practice.

• Deliver global project workstreams within the Accenture Commodity Markets practice, focusing on trading and risk management, investment valuation, or optimization.
• Conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify value creation opportunities for clients and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Support client interviews, workshops, and presentations to communicate complex strategic insights effectively.
• Develop and refine analytical elements, including financial modeling and market scenario analysis.
• Contribute to the development of practice offerings, assets, and thought leadership materials.
• Support business development activities by conducting market research and competitor analysis.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a leading academic institution.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex business issues.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to lead workshops and present to senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx) and programming languages (R, Python, Julia, SQL).
• Intellectual curiosity and a passion for business and technology, ideally with coursework in statistics or data analytics.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and fast-changing environments.
• Proficiency in both written and verbal English and Thai.
