T&T Manager - HR Strategy & Technology - Deloitte

You will lead HR transformation projects for large Japanese companies operating in Southeast Asia, focusing on modernizing HR systems and organizational structures. Your role involves managing mixed teams of local and Japanese staff to deliver complex consulting engagements. You will drive the adoption of cloud-based talent management systems and support regional optimization efforts, ensuring that HR strategies align with business growth and digital innovation. This position requires a strategic mindset to navigate diverse cultural and legal landscapes while implementing advanced HR technologies.

As a Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of HR system implementations, including requirements gathering, business process design, and change management. You will leverage your expertise in SAP SuccessFactors and Workday to drive efficiency and modernize HR operations. Additionally, you will support business development by identifying new opportunities and contributing to proposal activities, helping to secure high-value projects for the firm.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and other service divisions to provide comprehensive solutions that address both HR and business challenges. • Lead HR transformation projects for Japanese clients in Southeast Asia, managing mixed teams of local and Japanese staff
• Design and implement cloud-based talent management systems, specifically SAP SuccessFactors and Workday
• Conduct Fit & Gap analysis and business process design for HR system implementations
• Manage project lifecycles including requirements gathering, testing, training, and operations support
• Support business development and proposal activities to secure new consulting projects
• Drive regional optimization initiatives by integrating HR systems and operations across Southeast Asia
• Facilitate change management to ensure successful adoption of new HR technologies and processes

• Deep expertise in HR system design, planning, and organizational development
• Proven consulting experience in integrating HR systems across entire groups
• Experience implementing core HR systems, specifically SAP SuccessFactors or Workday
• Strong project management experience in organizational and HR-related initiatives
• Demonstrated experience in change management and talent management consulting
• Native-level proficiency in Japanese with business-level English, or vice versa
• Experience leading projects and contributing to securing projects through proposal activities
• Experience working on global projects using business-level English
• Consulting experience related to Southeast Asia is highly desirable

• Workday certification
• Previous experience in HR, corporate planning, or business operations
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to bridge cultural differences
• Knowledge of ERP packages and advanced HR functionality
